  • Be registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) for Social Programs of the Federal Government.
  • Have a per capita monthly family income of less than R$210,00.
  • Have among its members:
    • Pregnant women or people under 21 years of age in poverty;
    • Families in extreme poverty (per capita monthly family income of less than R$105,00).

Furthermore, the family must be registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and meet the other criteria required by Auxílio Brasil. Elderly people and people with disabilities who received the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) can also benefit from the program.

How to register for Auxílio Brasil?

O registration with Auxílio Brasil can be done in three ways. Registration and updating of Auxílio Brasil is done through the Single Registry (CadÚnico), which can be accessed:

  • Using the Caixa Tem app:
    1. Download the Caixa Tem app on your cell phone;
    2. Access the application and log in with your CPF and password;
    3. Click on the “Auxílio Brasil” option;
    4. Follow the instructions to register.
  • From the government website:
    1. Visit the site www.gov.br;
    2. Click on the “CadÚnico” option;
    3. Follow the instructions to register.
  • At a Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS):
    1. Look for the CRAS closest to you;
    2. Take the necessary documents for registration;
    3. Present the documents to an attendant and follow the instructions to register.

To register for Auxílio Brasil and access the benefits, it is necessary to gather some documents that prove the data and socioeconomic situation of the family. Presenting complete documentation speeds up the registration process with the Single Registry (CadÚnico).

Single Registration Update

    2. Click on the “Auxílio Brasil” option;
    3. Click on the “Update Registration” option;
    4. Follow the instructions to update your registration.
  • From the government website:
